Hey ya'll!

My name is Alyssa Farris and I am one of the agriculture teachers here at Green Hill High School. I have been teaching for five years now, but have been on The Hill since the doors opened! I am one of 4 Agriculture teachers and FFA Advisors here. I teach Agriscience, Honors Agriculture Business and Finance, and Work Based Learning.

Growing up I was heavily involved in FFA and 4H, where I showed sheep and goats. Most of the time you can still find me in a show barn, this time just working with my kids and their show animals.

  My husband, Matthew, and I live in Shop Springs where we run and operate our USDA Certified commercial and show goat herd.If I am not at school, chances are you can find me at the barn or ballfield with my babies, Ty James and Willa Mae. A few fun facts about me are I love all things livestock, iced coffee and family!
